In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, and in continuation of our 150th Anniversary celebration, Father Tom Kiefer will bless pets from our community.   All creatures great and small are welcome!  The ceremony will be on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at 12:30 pm.  We will gather outside on the school playground, surrounding the portico.

All animals must be on leash or suitably restrained.  If you prefer, your pet may be blessed while in your car (let a volunteer know where you are parked).  Those pets unable to attend may be represented by a photo.   Children without pets are encouraged to bring their teddy bears or other stuffed animal toys!  Each animal will receive a certificate of blessing and all attendees will receive a St. Francis prayer card.   In case of bad weather, stay in your car and you will be directed to line up for individual blessings under the church awning.
